My homemade siomai

Both me and my husband love dumplings.Since we don't go to the restaurants more often,I usually made some by myself.My husband said,he rather like what I've made than the ones in resto because he knows the ingredients I've used and also I put a lot of meat :)It's also easy to do because you just have to mix all the ingredients again :)It's good if you have a soy sauce with lemon and chili,yummy!!!

House renovation

We visited again the family of my brother in law last Sunday.We had a little family gathering there.My BIL,asked my husband some suggestions,he wants to renovate his house,there are some repairs to be done and replacement.Some of us even noticed that their roof has to be changed.My husband suggested that in their roof,they should switch to metal roofing for it is more solid and durable compare to his roof now.Metal roof will last very long and it's an energy saving roof too.Since there will be some renovations to do,my husband even volunteer to help them to save some money.Maybe we'll help them when we are done transferring to our new home.

We,women in general love jewelries,we adore wearing it.Who never wants to have it,nobody right? :)People love wearing it to accentuate their beauty or physical appearance,the clothes they are wearing and also it adds sophistication.

I saw a nice,beautiful and unique handcrafted jewelry,I thought it would be a perfect gift for my sister on her birthday,I know she will like it.She likes unique style and good quality jewelries.Hndmade ones really shows the creativity of the designer.

Chocolate cake that I baked

I love to bake but I'm not an expert in baking.I really wanted to take baking and cake decoration classes.I wanted to know more the proper way of baking and know the techniques in decoarting a cake.Maybe I'll inquire in Davao once we arrive there for some short classes.

This is the chocolate cake that I usually bake,it's just so simple.My husband and my son loves it a lot.It's so easy to do coz I only have to mixed all the ingredients.I baked only simple cake recipes :)

An expert mom

Having a family is really different when I was still single.Now I have lots of responsibilities not only to my husband but to my son as well.I have to admit,I still have a lot to learn as a parent in raising our child.If only my mother was still alive,it wouldn't be harder for me because for me she is a Mom expert.She knows a lot in life.She was good on how to take care our family,she was a good parent and most of all,she raised us well.If only she was around,I'm sure she will help in times of difficulties.I really miss her a lot!

Now that she's gone,sometimes,I asked my aunties that I also called expert mommies for advices on what to do when my kid was sick,what are the right foods to eat and how to discipline my toddler and a lot more on parenting.It's really difficult to be a parent but it's all worth it especially when you see the smile of your child and how he grows up well.Though I'm a no mom expert but I'm a proud parent!

Life is short and sometimes unexpected death can sometimes causes problems especially if the person has some assets.The concern is how the properties will be distributed to the family or beneficiaries.Just like my widow friend in San Diego California,she's married and her husband before had a serious illness.But before the health of his husband became worst,they consulted a professional and experienced San Diego living trust attorney,who has expertise in the drafting and implementing of living trust.Her husband wants to create a living trust for them since they have some important properties.He wanted to put things right before something will happen to him,it's better that his family is in security than having problems later.Good thing that before his health got worst and eventually died,he already made the living trust.For now,she is the sole trustee of their estates.She was very thankful to his husband because he never failed to think for their welfare.

Filipinos are the most users in friendster

Filipinos are known for being friendly and it shows in friendster :)I've read in the inquirer.net that Filipinos are the biggest population of friendster users in the world,surpassing the United States,where the service was originally launched.When you browse the members,you will find many Filipinos:)I even thought sometimes that it's a social network for Pinoys :)I can even attest to that because I guess almost of my classmates in high school and in collage are members of Friendster.I even found my long lost friend there.It's a great place to find,reunite old and new friends.

Charice Pempengco at David Foster's concert in Las Vegas

Another great achievement and a great performance of Charice.After guesting Ellen De Generes show,Paul O Grady and the ever known Ophrah show,now she was invited to be one of the guest at David Foster's concert in Mandalay Las Vegas.She was given 2 standing ovations from American audiences after singing I will always love you and I am telling you.David Forster a musical guru really admired Charice for her singing ability and even said after her performance,"The star is born tonight"these words coming from him means a lot!Oh,she was so lucky to met and performed with these big international singing stars like Josh Groban,Andrea Bocelli,Alicia Keys and many more in that concert.

I like watching her performances here,her renditions of Whitney Houston were great.To think she was performing infront of more than 10,000 audiences but still her stage presence was great!Love you Charice! :)No doubt she'll be the next International big star!The pride of every Filipino.

The band Journey with Arnel Pineda at CBS

I've been watching old and new videos of Journey especially now that Arnel is with them.I saw their interview at CBS in You Tube.It really shows how the fans of Journey accepted Arnel as a new band member.The concerts in Las Vegas were full packed.The crowd were screaming for joy and they had fun watching the concert.At the interview,the life of Arnel was showed,the struggles and hardship he went through.But Arnel didn't stop dreaming and God is so good that Arnel able to survive and reach his dreams.Congrats and goodluck Arnel!

Finally Ces Drilon and her team were freed

When I saw the news about Ces's abduction on TV last week,I've been reading and watching news program for the updates.I really feel pity for them,I know for sure,they have sacrificed a lot from their abductors.Fortunately,after more than a week of abduction,the news team of ABS-CBN led by Ces Drilon were freed.They were released late night Tuesday,June 17 in good condition.There was no ranson paid but only a livelihood package will be given.Thank God they're safe now.

Visiting our friends

We visited our friends last Sunday and we had a nice dinner at their home.They served a lot of drinks especially wines and champagne.Wines are usually serve in french meal especially on occasions.They have many superb wines that are nicely arrange in their wine rack.It's nice to look at them when they are well arranged.In our house,we also have a wine rack but not as big as they have.I don't really drink a wine but when I tasted one of the wines that was served,I guess I drink a glass of it :).We really had a great time seeing them.

Many house foreclosed

With the worst economy that every country's experiencing now,many people can't able to pay anymore their house mortgages.I've read on the net and seen on the television about lots of houses that are even foreclosed or even at the verge of losing.Some people are going to mortgage lenders so that they can still save their homes.I feel pity to those people,it's really hard to lose a home that you work and save for.I myself don't want to lost our home,coz our home is our memories.

Finding great deals

I'm a kind of a shopper that buy things with good quality but at the same time saves some money.I always look for sales or some clearance items,I'm good at that :)and besides who doesn't want to have some discounts especially now that life is getting hard.I have to say that one can always find a best buy if you only search very well.You just have the patience to look around and surely you can save a lot of money.You just have to visit frequently the online stores that always do sales,promo and nice deals.

To watch concert at Las Vegas

My aunt Minda told me who is living in US that she and her husband will watch Lani Misalucha's concert in Las Vegas.Eversince in the Philippines,she likes to listen Lani's songs but never had a chance to see her perform live.Now that she will have the chance to see her idol,she's so excited!

They've been looking already at some online booking site which offer the finest las vegas hotels.Lucky for them,they got the cheaper rate when they booked.I was really envy with her because I'm a fan too of Lani.Wish I could be there at the concert.

Goodbye "Da Boy"

I called at home this morning and I was shocked and saddened when my sister told me that Rudy Fernandez passed away this morning because of cancer.I really thought he could survived from his battle over this worst illness for he went to the best hospitals and had all the best treatments but sadly his body couldn't took it anymore.

He already accepted what will happen and he stayed to be a happy person despite of his condition.Good thing that his family and friends are there,even to the last minute of his life.For me,he is still young to die at 56.Many people will really miss him.Goodbye,Da Boy...

How can I lose weight

Maybe some of you know,how I am desperate to lose some weight but still I couldn't resisted cooking and eating my favorite foods though :(.It's really hard to be slim but whenever I see my friend who succeded to shed some kilos.I'm thinking of using some safe diet pills.Though I want to lose weight in an easy way but I have to look for my health and safety first.I will make sure that before using any product,I have to consult first our family doctor if I'm allowed to use the product.As I always say,it's better to be safe than to be sorry later.

How can I lose weight in safest way?anyone can help me?

A nice gift for my father

When I was searching a gift for my father on this coming father's day,I saw these medical id jewelries such as medical id bracelets.I think my friend gave the same thing to her mother in law.Since she has some issues on her medical condition and taking some medicines,so whenever she goes out,she never fails to wear it.It is very useful incase of emergency because all of the important informations on her medical condition and medicines are engraved to her id bracelet.I think it would be a nice gift for my father.

Hello guys,sorry if I'm not visible as much now,maybe many of you know that we're soon to move to our new home.It's just that we're so busy right now.I'm so happy that the problem was fixed and we'll be signing soon to close the deal.

I even missed some opportunities that were assigned to me,I didn't notice the due dates.Luckily,I have some left but I almost lost it too.I didn't even try to open my blog just to not be tempted to use the internet and concentrate on packings and some other things to be done before we move such as rendevouz and to get ready the balikbayan boxes to be sent to Pinas,for we'll be far from Paris soon.
