Our Christmas family gathering

Our family christmas gathering was great.That was also the time for them to be reunited again since his brothers and sisters live far from each other and especially to see my mother in law who will be 102 this coming April.It was so good to see them again.

We had a great lunch,we ate some smoked salmon,some prawns,foie gras on entree.We had a big roasted lamb on the main course with veges and some cakes and tartes on dessert.We started at almost 1PM and finished at 4PM,we were very full at the end of the meal,who wouldn't be? :)

Alex was very happy with all the gifts he received from his uncles,aunties and also from his sister.

Merry Christmas and advance Happy New Year to all!!!May we have a wonderful christmas and a fruitful new year.On the 26th will be going to Paris and will stay there until January 1.We'll have family reunions to attend and will be celebrating new year at Janese's house.I'm hoping that in the next new year celebration,we will celebrate it with my family in Philippines.Too bad it didn't push through this year.

So I'm saying this in advance coz I don't know if I still have the chance to visit all the blogs.Merry Christmas and advance Happy New Year once again!!!

The fortress in Rethymno Crete Island,Greece

When we visited Greece,we also went to Crete island after visiting Athens.Since it was summer that time and my husband likes to go to the beach,we decided that we also have to go to the southern part of Greece where beautiful islands and beaches could be found.There we visited Heraklion,Chania and Rethymno.We stayed there in Rethymno and we had the chance to visit the fortress.They said that it was built by the Venetians,to protect the people from the Turkish threat.It's a beautiful place,in the fortress you can see the vast blue colored ocean and the village of Rethymno.

My husband likes to visit historical places,everytime we visited places like that,he always read the history of the place but me,busy taking pictures hehehe.

Having problem with my entrecard

It really upset me when everytime I visit blogs and wanted to drop some ECs,it stated "get one".Or it takes a lot of time before it will mark "drop".I just don't understand coz I logged in already.I'm just still a newbie with this entrecard thing and I really don't know why it happens.I even emailed them(entrecard) my problem,I'm just waiting for their response.

Italian pasta with cream and tuna flakes

I like to make this dish coz it's one of the favorite foods of my husband and I love it too.To make a change for the usual pasta with tomato sauce,I made this one with cream and with tuna flakes.I just boiled the pasta with seasoning cube.Then when it's already cooked,put the cream,tuna flakes,mozarella cheese,grounded fried garlic and onion,chopped green onions and parsley and black pepper to taste.After you mixed all the ingredients with the pasta,you're done and it's ready to serve.It's so easy to prepare and I can assure you will have a very delicious meal.

The lifestyle of rich people

In one of TV programs here,they featured the lifestyles of different rich people.One has a big castle and the others have some big villas and mansions,not to mention the luxurious cars they have.One of them showed his collections of expensive watches like Patek Philippe and Rolex to name a few.The other showed also their collections of jewelries,like diamonds and some other precious stones.The other showed also his collections of expensive cars like ferrari and lamborghini.They always party and hang out in some expensive clubs.What a great life they have!

Some of them are already rich since they were born but some of them are nouveau rich.I really envy them for having these things.For sure they can buy whatever they want.

Big pizzas in Italy

When we were there in Italy last October,we saw a lot of pizza stands in any places we went.No doubt of that since pizza started in Italy.It was my first time also to see some big pizzas like the photos below.Oh lalala,Im sure I couldn't finish even the half of it :)We really had a great time visiting Italy.

Had some snow here

It's an overdue post,I wanted to post this before december but didn't have a chance to transfer the photos earlier.We had some snow two weeks ago.When we were still living in Paris region,we seldom have snow but here(centre de France) as early as November we got it already.Too bad,it didn't snow a lot,I wanted my son to play with snow and make some snow balls or snow man :)

My friend got a job again!

Many companies all over the world had closed,here in France there are many people who are jobless.My friend in USA particularly in Georgia was one of the victims of this economy crisis.She was laid off in their company.She searched for a new job and it was really hard for her because there are lots of people who are also looking.Good thing that she found an online site,which offers jobs in Atlanta.She just posted her resume there and they helped her found her new job.I am just happy that she's working again now.

Karaoke:Just like a pill by Pink

I just discovered this site which you can sing some karaoke songs.I really like this site coz you can record and listen to it after.Today,I tried to record some songs since there's nothing much to do here at home.Just bear with me if you find my voice "a not so good" I just did it for fun :) and excuse me for the yelling of my baby in the background :)

Too bad,I couldn't find my microphone.(para videoke na hehehe)

Using disposable adult diaper

I watched a TV program last night which tackled about the lives of old people.Some are in the home for the age and some are in their house with relatives who take care of them.Some of them are already bedridden.Since they are sick and weak,they just stay on their beds and only the nurses who put and change their disposable adult diapers.In home for the age,they always make sure that they have enough incontinence supplies since they have many bedridden residents.It's really practical that they used those diapers since it absorbs very well and less hassle for them to clean.Seeing the video,I remembered my experience as an OJT for a month in the home for the age,it was hard but a rewarding experience.

Putting an entrecard

Poireau in ham and cheese

I really like this food and it's easy to prepare.Just boiled the branch of the poireau and after you put some cheese and rolled it in ham.After,you put the bechamel cream and put it in the oven,just wait till the cream becomes burns a little,then it's done.I can assure you,it's really very good!

Planting trees

We are lucky that the old owner of this house we bought was also selling his big parcel of land to us which is situated after our lot.It's a half hectar agri land so we can't construct anything but we can plant any trees and plants we like :)My husband said he would like to put some cherry,apple,apricot,pear and Fig trees.I'm sure we can plant many trees.I'm really so excited to have my fruit bearing trees,herbs and vegetables but first we have to clean the area and cut the big trees there.I know it's gonna be a big work,but since both of us are not working,it would be our past time doing some gardening.

Lighting fixtures

It's been four months since we transferred here in our new abode.Here in our house,there are things that should be changed since it's not new when we bought it.We would like to change the lighting fixtures here in our house,especially in the bathroom,kitchen and ceiling.We wanted to change those because,we don't like the style and I guess,it's already old enough.When it comes to house works,we still haven't done any major changes yet here until now.Maybe when my husband will be fully recovered from his operation.
