Outer banks in North Carolina

When I was browsing some photos in a social networking site,I saw some great summer vacation photos in the beach of North Carolina.I've read before that many NC people like to have their vacation in the Outer Banks coz they can do a lot of activities aside from going to the beach.People can do fishing,kayaking and some other water sports or just visit the point of interest of outer banks.I guess there are lots of outer banks vacation rental homes there since there are many families want to go there for a vacation.If you still have no idea what to do this summer,maybe you might consider going to outer banks.
