Beautiful Philippines!

Philippines is a beautiful country with lots of interesting places to visit.With it's 7107 islands,I'm sure the country has a lot to offer to it's visitors.I am a Filipino but yet I am still stranger or a tourist to my own country if I may say.I have never been to other places aside from Davao,Manila,Cebu and Cotabato.

I wanted to visit some other places in Philippines coz I want to discover the beauty of my own country.I have seen many beautiful photos of Palawan,Boracay,Bohol and Camiguin and it really made me want to see those places.I really would like to show my family how beautiful my country Philippines is.

My friend's wedding photos

The other day I was browsing again my friend's wedding photos.It was a very beautiful wedding.The couple were very happy in every photos.I can really tell that they really love each other.I am really happy for them coz at last my friend found a man that would love and respect her dearly.I remember,she told me before that if ever she is getting married,she would love to have a nice wedding coz it only happens once in a lifetime.And I am happy she got what she dreamed of.Thanks to her husband who really wants to give only the best for her.

She even told me that her husband gave her a set of earrings with diamonds on it and an expensive watch before the wedding.Her husband wanted her to be very beautiful in their wedding day.What a very lucky woman!.

Body acne

Just like what I have said in my previous post,I have some pimples on my face and it really sucks.Good thing that I use a bacterial soap and my face is getting better.My husband told me that I am still lucky coz I only have few big pimples compare to the other people who have some worse acne problems.Some are even needing body acne treatments for they have acnes in some other parts of the body like back and chest.

Before,I used to think that acne can only have it on face but I was surprised when I saw a tv program featuring a teenager boy having acnes in some other parts of his body.I pitied him coz he is young and yet he didn't want to mingle with the others due to his severe acnes.Good thing that his parents brought him to the doctor and his acnes were treated.

Moukata,a cheap but good buffet restaurant in Bangkok

Before we went to Thailand,I searched on the net about the cheap but good buffet restaurants in Bangkok since we like to eat in that kind of restaurant.Fortunately some members in a travel forum recommended me that I should try eating at Moukata.They said that the food is great and cheap.There are many varieties of meat,fish,veges and desserts.All of that for 99 baht per person.No doubt why there are many people whether locals or tourists eating there.

But in this kind of restaurant,you are the one who will cook your food.So when we were there,we usually grilled some marinated meat and fish and just cook a simple soup with lots of herbs hmmmm yummy!!!! For the desserts,we just mixed the fruits and some other sweet ingredients with coconut cream and it was really good.I hope in the future there will be the same chain of buffet restaurants like that in the Philippines.

Getting rid of pimples

Lately,we eat a lot of meat,we bought some kilos when a store had a promotional price on different meat cuts.Also me and my husband like grilled and fried meat.So you can imagined how oily my face was.I noticed that I have many pimples on my face. I tried washing my face more often but it didn't get better.So I asked my friend on how to
remove pimples coz she suffered the same problem before.Good thing she recommended me about the bacterial soap.I was able to buy it immediately and after I used it I got a good result on my face.My face is getting better now.

Body conscious

More and more women are very conscious in their body shape.If they see that they are getting big,they do exercise and diet immediately.Others would like to use some of the herbal weight loss pills or ask some medical help to shed those fats.People who have money can always go to the easier ways.

Just like my friends,they are all slim now.They always watch their food intake.As much as possible they stay away from fatty and sweet foods.They eat more fruits and vegetables and less meat.While on diet they also practice exercise so they really maintain their bodies in good shape.How I wish I have the courage and motivation to do the same.

Bangkok airport

One of the international airports that I like is the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok Thailand.It is big,nice and clean.The toilets are always clean.There are many restaurants and stores to go to when you are hungry.There are also big thai statues in every lanes(it's the place where you check-in).

What I like the most is that there are many orchids and some plants everywhere in the airport.Even in the toilets,they put many orchids inside.I'm sure the tourists really appreciate the efforts of thais to keep their aiport's beautiful and clean.

Personal choice

Just like what I have written in my previous post,I admired the chubby woman that I saw in the mall.She has confidence in herself.Despite of having a weight problem,it never hinders her to do what she really wanted like wearing short and sexy dress.I guess it's a matter of how you carry yourself and never mind what others would say.On the other hand,some other people who have weight problems,they seek the help of powerful diet pills that work for them to lose weight.

For me it's a matter of choice,some people want to do the traditional way of losing weight that takes a lot of time and effort and some people want to do the easy ways.It really depends on personal choice.

Weight problem

I am worried of getting big again.But sometimes I just think that there are many people that have the same weight problem as mine or even worse just for me to stop worrying.I remember when we were at the mall in Davao,I saw a chubby woman wearing a short sexy dress.I thought she have to do some fast weight loss diets first before wearing that kind of dress.But she was so confident walking at the mall like she was beautiful and sexy.She really didn't care what would other people would say.She carried herself with lots of confidence.I really admire her attitude.

Though she's comfortable of her weight but I think she should also think to lose some weight coz health problems will come after if she continues to be like that.

Samphran Elephant and Zoo

When I was making our iteniraries for our Thailand trip,I decided to put Samphran Elephant and Zoo to be one of the places we should visit.When I saw and read their website,I was so excited knowing that I can have a photo with the bengal tigers,that I can watch the crocodile wrestling,that I'll be riding an elephant and to have some closer pics with them.And yes we did all of that!!!I never expected that we can touch and caress elephants like any domestic animals.

It was really a wonderful experience for us.So if you are visiting Bangkok,don't forget to visit the Samphran Elephant and Zoo,an almost an hour drive from Bangkok.

Novice driver

After I talked to my friend yesterday,I asked my husband about the car insurance of a novice driver.He confirmed it to me that a novice driver pays more compare to the ones who drive for the longest time.Since my friend's son is a novice driver,they know that they gonna pay more for him if they gonna get it from their car insurance company.So my friend and her husband are shopping for different car insurance quotes on the net.But until now my friend and her husband couldn't still decide which one is the best for they are still comparing the different insurers.

I guess I should tell them about our new insurer coz we have less premium but with good coverage.

Learn how to drive

Yesterday I was talking to my friend here who I haven't heard for almost 5 months.She's also a Filipina.Too bad we never had a chance to bond and I never met her family coz everytime I invited her to our house,she is always busy in her jobs.So only on the phone I got the chance to talk to her.

Yesterday,we talked about our 3 month long vacation in Philippines and she asked me if I tried to enroll in a driving school there.Unfortunately I didn't have the chance to learn how to drive there.She told me that her son is now enrolled in driving school here.As early as now she and her husband are already looking on the net for the best car insurance rate.Knowing that her son is just 18 years old and a novice driver,the rate might be high.They like to find a nice insurance company that will have a good coverage and at the same time affordable.

I am sure they can find one.

Buying gold

Many people are investing their money to business,stock options and buying precious metals.I have read that more and more people tend to buy gold coins,gold jewelries and some other precious metals as an investment.Some people prefer to invest on gold,silver,platinum coz the values of these precious metals are doing well.I guess their value rarely depreciate.

I even read in one of the forums that some people were shifting on investing to gold when there was a problem in the stock market because some people who invested on stock options losed their money.And they thought that it's better to invest on precious metals instead.

If I have lots of money,I myself would want to buy gold,surely it is a good investment for me.

Dream World Park in Bangkok

When we went to Thailand,we visited the amusement park called Dream World in Bangkok.It is a big park divided in to different zones like The Fantasy land,Adventure land,Dream World Plaza and Dream Gardens.The park has many fantastic rides,our most favorite was the Grand Canyon.It was really fun and exciting.I remember we were wet after the ride coz we forgot to buy plactic clothes for water protection.Fortunately we brought some extra t-shirts with us.

My sister really enjoyed her visit in Snown Town.It was her first time to experience how is it to be in the snow.She said it was freakin cold but it didn't bother her to stay longer.She even enjoyed the slides.

We also experience there our first elephant ride and first interaction with an elephant.Too bad we didn't see the Colours of the World parade for it only happens every weekend and went their on weekday.

We really enjoy our visit there and it was all worth the money we spent.

Schoolmates working in construction companies

Some of my schoolmates and friends in college are now working in middle east.Most of them are engineers and working in construction companies.Whenever I saw their on job site photos in facebook or friendster,they are always in their protective glasses,clothes,headwears,gloves,footwears and some other protective gears to ensure their safety.So I am sure that their job is kind'a risky.But they are so lucky that they have a good and high paying job.I'm so proud of them especially when I saw some of their photos showing the places they are working and some of their accomplishments.

Their jobs are not easy.They have to endure the long hours of work,high temperature in the dessert and some adjustments.But you know what,they have endured all of these and also to be far away from their family because they love them.For them to be able to give brighter future and good life for their family.I really admired them.

Preparing for the cold season

It's starting to get cold now here especially in the morning.I can feel that the cold season is fast approaching and summer is near to end.I guess I should start preparing our thick clothes like pulls,jackets,coats and also our boots.And I am sure some people are already buying or cleaning their humidifiers and humidifier filters for the upcoming cold season.Humidifier helps a lot to eliminate dry air in the room coz it increases humidity or moisture.With this,it helps to stop bacteria and germs that causes health problems to generate.

Too bad that we didn't much enjoyed the summer time here in France coz we were in philippines for 3 months but nevertheless,we were happy also with our vacation in Philippines.

I miss my family in Davao

Yes,I really miss my family in Davao.Eventhough we just arrived from a very long vacation in Philippines,I really wanted to go back there.Though sometimes my siblings are stubborns and we have some little problems but still I love them and I wanted to be with them.If only I could,I wanted to stay and probaby live there.But my husband couldn't bear the heat and the noise of the animals so my dream of living there again vanished.

Sad to say that we have to wait another 2 years before we can go back there again.We have to save some money first for airfare and for the other expenses.So for the meantime,I have to be contented seeing them on webcam and hearing them on the phone.

Rich people in Paris

Whenever we go to Paris,we always see rich people in their luxurious cars,expensive clothes,jewelries and high end watches.I remember when I was still working in Paris,I got the chance to see Ferrari cars,Rolls Royce,Mercedes Benz and some other high-end cars.And if you happen to visit the malls like Galeries Lafayette,Printemps and some high end department stores in Paris,you will surely bump some rich individuals.

A friend of mine who is working in a high end hotel,usually see people that are wearing expensive clothes,jewelries and watches.I told her that maybe they are wearing clothes that are made by grand couturiers,high end watches like Rolex,Chopard,Patek Philippe and Omega.She even told me that she saw numerous times some local and international celebrities.

They are so lucky that they have lots of money and can buy anything that they want even if it's so expensive.While me and my husband are riding an old car and wearing a not expensive clothes.How I wish I will win in lotto someday :)
